In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the evaluating Member State (EMS), the United Kingdom (UK), received an application from Cheminova A/S to set an import tolerance for the active substance flutriafol in cucurbits with edible peel from the United States of America (USA) at the proposed level of 0.15 mg/kg. The UK drafted an evaluation report in accordance with Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, which was submitted to the European Commission and forwarded to EFSA. The supervised residue trials are adequate to support and set an import tolerance of 0.15 mg/kg for flutriafol in cucurbits with edible peel. Adequate analytical enforcement methods are available to control the residues of flutriafol in plant matrices and on the commodities under consideration. Based on the risk assessment results, EFSA concludes that the proposed use of flutriafol on cucurbits with edible peel will not result in a consumer exposure exceeding the toxicological reference values and therefore is unlikely to pose a consumer health risk.
